Welcome to
Hawaii's community rock climbing website!
Online since May of 2002, RockClimbingHawaii.com was established to
help you locate the most complete, objective, and accurate
information available on rock climbing in the Hawaiian Islands.
Rock climbing began in Hawaii in the 1980’s with the formal
establishment of developed routes on the Island of Oahu. Whether
you are a visitor to our islands for a few days or a lucky resident,
you can expect to discover fun, quality routes, fantastic views, and
a gorgeous beach below all of our climbing areas. As of 2008,
several new areas are being developed, and progress is being made on
the neighbor islands including the Big Island, Kauai, and Maui.
Keep checking back with us for new sites or updated information and
photos.
In this site, you'll find pretty much everything you need to know
about rock climbing in the Hawaiian Islands. We've also thrown in
several links to other climbing resources for good measure.
RockClimbingHawaii.com is fully funded and
maintained by Climb Aloha, Hawaii’s premiere source for technical
climbing equipment and instruction since 1999.
